Basil and Mozzarella Burger is a great gourmet burger that can easily be made at home. It is packed full of delicious flavors. Be sure to take the time to make the sun-dried tomato mayo! If you have extra mayo it is great on a sandwich or in a wrap.
Burgers are one of my favorite foods to eat year round. I can almost always go for a good burger. I found this recipe in my Taste of Home Healthy Cooking 2012 Annual Recopies Cookbook.

You can freeze the extra 1/2 pound of ground beef and use it in the following recipes:

|1/4 cup tomatoes not packed in oil|
|1 cup boiling water|
|2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce|
|1/4 cup fresh basil|
|2 teaspoons Italian seasoning|
|2 garlic cloves|
|1/2 teaspoon pepper|
|1/4 teaspoon salt|
|1.5 pounds ground beef|
|3/4 cup mozzarella cheese|
|1 cup mayo|
- Complete the prep from the prep tab above.
- Grill each patty for about 5 minutes per side depending on how done you like your burger.
- Serve burgers with buns and mayo. Enjoy!
