Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Garlic mashed potatoes are the perfect side to any comfort meal. They are so simple to make with just the right amount of garlic flavor!

Garlic mashed potatoes are the perfect accompaniment to a comfort meal. To be honest I also love them on the side of fish. Once you make potatoes like this it is hard to make them any other way especially if you are a garlic lover like me.

I learned how to do this while reading a tip from a really old cook book. I am  not sure who first discovered placing a clove of garlic in with your potatoes would bring out the most balanced garlic flavor. What a genius!
