Ham and Fruit Salad with Vinaigrette

Ham and Fruit Salad with Vinaigrette is a great salad with a bold orange ginger vinaigrette. I love to interchange seasonal fruits and greens.

Ham and Fruit Salad with Orange Ginger Vinaigrette is best when the oranges are in season. If they are not in season then substitute mandarin oranges. This is a great way to use up leftover picknick ham.

As the seasons change try substituting different fruits such as peaches, plums, mango, pineapple, melons, etc. I like to use varieties of greens as well such as baby spinach, arugula, romaine, spring mixes, etc. It is a lot of fun to interchange these ingredients.

I found this vinaigrette recipe in my Taste of Home Healthy Cooking 2016 Annual Recipes Cookbook.

Cost Per Serving $7.92 as of April 2023

Salads are usually expensive because of all the fresh ingredients. It is important to weave them into or weekly meals to get all of the vitamins and nutrients.

If you have ZERO ingredients then this recipe will cost about $31.68.

If you have a fully stocked pantry this recipe will cost about $20.42.

  • Cost per serving reduces to 5.11.

I am assuming you have salt and pepper and do not add it into the recipe total cost.
